These terms and conditions govern your use of Pacific Play Expo 2026 services, website, and events. Please read them carefully before participating in our expo.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Pacific Play Expo 2026 website, purchasing tickets, or attending our events, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service or attend our events.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity, and Pacific Play Expo regarding your access to and use of our services. You agree that by accessing our services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms. It is your responsibility to check periodically for changes.

2. Event Policies and Conduct

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the expo. Pacific Play Expo is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all participants regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion.

Prohibited Conduct:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
  • Disruptive behavior that interferes with other attendees' experience
  • Unauthorized recording or photography of presentations or exhibits
  • Distribution of promotional materials without prior approval
  • Consumption of alcohol or controlled substances on event premises
  • Bringing weapons or dangerous items to the venue

Violation of these conduct policies may result in immediate removal from the event without refund and potential legal action. Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who violates these terms.

3. Ticketing and Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled or postponed by Pacific Play Expo. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except in the circumstances outlined below. Each ticket grants admission to one person for the specified event dates and times.

Refund Eligibility:

  • Event cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Significant changes to the event program or schedule
  • Venue changes that substantially affect the event experience
  • Medical emergencies with proper documentation

Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the qualifying incident and will be processed within 10-15 business days. Processing fees may be deducted from refund amounts. We strongly recommend purchasing event insurance for additional protection.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content presented at Pacific Play Expo 2026, including but not limited to presentations, demonstrations, artwork, music, and promotional materials, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

By attending the expo, you agree not to record, photograph, or otherwise capture any content without explicit permission from the content owners and event organizers. This includes gameplay footage, developer presentations, and private demonstrations.

Photography and Media:

Pacific Play Expo reserves the right to photograph, film, and record activities during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in event marketing materials, social media, and future promotional content without compensation.

5. Limitation of Liability

Pacific Play Expo and its organizers, sponsors, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your attendance at the event or use of our services.

This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. You attend the event at your own risk and responsibility.

Personal Property:

Pacific Play Expo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Attendees are advised to secure their belongings and avoid bringing valuable items to the event. The venue and event organizers are not liable for any theft or damage to personal items.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. The collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information including but not limited to name, email address, payment information, and attendance preferences. This information is used to process ticket sales, communicate event updates, and improve our services.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Force Majeure

Pacific Play Expo shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms which is due to fire, flood, earthquake, elements of nature or acts of God, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control.

In the event of circumstances beyond our control that prevent or significantly impact the event, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature and timing of the disruption.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes will be submitted to final and binding arbitration under the rules of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre.
